I MADE PANCAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)
I was going to make muffins ytd for my mom's breakfast today.. but she says she's sick of western food for breakfast and wants something else... and then she suggested pancakes...
I know right? isn't pancakes western? hmm... hahaa... =) told you my mom is cute!!!
anyway.. so i made pancakes this morning... =) i've been making pancakes for my parents breakfast since i was 12! i remember when we were overseas they hardly went out for breakfast cuz there weren't any "kopi tiam" overseas so we'd have breakfast at home and i'll make pancakes, sunny side up and bacon! =)
sigh. but now that we're back in S'pore i hardly get the chance to cook breakfast anymore!! cuz there are so many coffee shops around!! and my dad plays golf on Saturday mornings and goes for breakfast with his mom on Sundays... pooo!
but anyway... i digress... what's so special about today's pancakes?? i didn't come from a Betty Crocker box!!! i made it from scratch!!!!!! =) and its really simple actually...
First put flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar in a bowl
Then in a separate bowl mix melted butter, milk, egg and vanilla essence together
And then combine the dry and wet ingredients together and you have pancake batter! so simple!!
Then do a "sacrificial pancake" to test the heat of the pan... my sacrificial pancake ended up being the nicest looking pancake despite the recipe saying that it will fail...... haha..
See? making pancakes is so easy!!!

I must say this pancake recipe is really not bad! you can eat the pancake on its own and it still very tasty! yay!

i have to cut it into cubes first then i can eat it... haha.. but at Mac's i have to cut it up, piece it back together into a circle then eat... hahaaa.. last Friday was funny, Jack kept poking fun at my pancakes...
OH! i put bananas INTO the pancake as well!!! look! can you see?
And of course i have to play with my breakfast right? i like the effect of the light!! my pancake is glowing!
OK! that's all.. are you hungry now?? wahahahahhaaaa!!
i think i'll be a great mother... don't you? every week i'll bake something for my kids and then make pancakes for their breakfast... wahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!! my lucky kids!
someone has to make me stop drinking coffee!!! obviously my imagination goes wild when i drink coffee.. wahahahaa...
anyway... off to yoga class!
will blog later about the gym area and my daddy's wonderful idea! wahahhaaaa!
