HELLO ALL! i've risen from the pit of hell to the peak of happyness and bliss.

hahaha.. work has been super hectic and dramatic. so i've been super busy. and frustrated. and tired. (you won't BELIEVE the size of my eye bags!) anyway. there has been a sliver lining though. YOU'LL BE ABLE TO SPOT ME ON TEEEVEEEE!!!! =) hahaha.. and the kids are fun to be with luh. makes me feel young again.

ok shall blog in chronological order k!

this week was quite fun! had shoots on Tues and Wed. which btw were SUUPPER FUN... esp the second day cuz we got to know the crew better. they are so friendly and goofy! and cuz we had the shoot at the sci centre so they kept 'ka chiao-ing' the kids there! it was hilarious!!!

AND I GOT TO PLAY WITH THE EQUIPMENT!!!!! yay! that was one thing that i wanted to do during the course of my internship and I GOT TO DO ITTTTTTT!!!! the camera is SUPER heavy its much bulkier than the ones at sch! and the boom mic gave me nice toned arms albeit super suan ones! =) BUT SO MUCH FUN!!!!

LOVED THE SHOOT! oh AND the hosts of National Science Challenge, Stephanie and Nat were super friendly and personable! no airs! :) i'm impressed!

AND of course, Sher and I had to do a photoshoot at Sci Centre so here goes!

so that was the highlight of my work week..... now for the FABULOUS WEEKEND! starting...

FRIDAY.

I met Nana on Friday but no pics!!! WHY NANA WHY?!?!?!?!? WHY DO WE KEEP FORGETTING?!?! BUT luckily we saw Charm who's always armed with a camera! =)

Had fun going out with you babe! and again I'M SORRY I WAS LATE! but i made it up to you didn't I? hahaha... =) and MAN WE DIDN'T GET TO BUY ANYTHING!!!!!!! =S boo. miss you babe!

AND ON SATURDAY

I met CHEEKY! and we had quite a workout! we walked from orchard ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way to city hall!!! in the hot sun without protection no less!

OH AND! Cheeky taught me how to solve a rubiks cube! (although i don't quite remember.. it was all up turn down turn up down left right.....) BUT i semi solved it! with lost of hints and help from Eli. =)

at first my theory was that i'll solve it without any formula, just by pure luck and a stroke of genius! my theory only managed to move me a few steps forward... the rest of it Eli directed... it was quite a sight cuz she was like "left.......... NO not that left! RIGHT! LEFT! UP! no that's not up that's down -_-".............." hahahahha.. but sure enough it was SOLVED!!! and we took a few celebratory pics!

btw, before you take pics naturally you have to check your hair right? so i'm not being vain i'm being PERFECTLY normal....... SO DON'T LAUGH! (look at Cheeky's face! SO CHEEKY CAN?!)

SUNDDDDDDDDAY! which is today..

i had this irritation in my eye since Friday evening so mummy brought me to the doctor because no amount of pinching and poking my eye could identify the source of the irritation ( and i did try flushing it out with solution) so we went to the doctor only to find out that its a little black spec!!! that disappeared after the doctor moved it! so silly!

and since we were in the area I asked mummy to accompany me to TM to run some errands which turned out to be a 4 hour shopping spreeee!!!!! GSS HERE WE COMEEEEEE!!!

AND SHOEEEEEEEEES! running shoes, my old pair are 4 years old! i'll bet these will last me a good 2-3 years! (and they're pink! teehee!)

I LOVE PUBLIC HOLIDAYS!

teehee.. thank goodness for public holidays! i haven't had the time to clean up my room and sleep and organise the rubbish in my laptop and watch a full episode of Ellen's show in a month!!!!!! YAYYYYY!!!!!!

so now, my room is PICTURE PERFECT its so neat and tidy AND the sun is in a good mood today, which makes my room bright and cheery!! So i took some pictures and decided to do a room post. the results of the little makeover i did during the holidays.

HERE GOES! oh btw, the pictures go in a clockwise direction from the centre of my room =) just so you know. and if you can piece it together, you cleverrr! teehee!

anyway, here's a bit of an update... =) but frankly, there's nothing to update you about cuz life has basically been quite boring and repetitative. same old same old. go to work come home, go to work come home. blister on foot. rained. stained my white slacks green. break out in pimples. eyebags are crazy.go to work then come home, go to work then come home.

anyway two days after my last post i went out with BANANA NANA again! =) we went for a food tasting thing at St James Powerstation. =) the food was DELISH! the fish head curry was THE best! =)

Friday last week I went out with my deaaaaaaaaaaarests! Samuel, Audrey, Nicole, QianRu and Gs! WE FINALLY GET TO CATCH UP AFTER SO LONG! we should meet up soon yah! and avoid the Friday crowds the next time. I MISS YOU GUYS!

YAY! and since aerobics ended 1 week ago i haven't been getting my weekly pushes to start exercising! We even managed to fit in a photo session in the gym. hahahaa =) OH and there's a flabEloss machine in the gym which is SUPER fun!! hahahahhaaa! pictures coming once Charm sends them over!

i'm sorry i haven't been blogging! i've just been too lazy...

For the past 2 weeks, everyday when i reach home there are only 5 things i do when i arrive home. 1) stuff food in my mouth 2) take off my dirty clothes 3) remove make up 4) jump on my bed 5) fall asleep.

So that's basically why i haven't been blogging in such a long time. wahaha.. i love the weekends! the worst day of the week for me really has to be the Sunday evening.......... =S

anyway, enough of the blah blah blah stuff...

i think i've come to a revelation. i think i might be different... but i won't reveal it just yet cuz i'm not 100% certain... just that the more i think of it the more i realise that everything clicks now... and i'm just glad that i'm not the only one who feels that way... but its weird when you suddenly realise that you just might very well be that way...

or maybe i just need to get it out of my system... i don't know... so when i know then i'll let you know... but in the mean time...

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!

haven't blogged in ages, so here's a quick update! i've been really busy the last week or so because i failed my idiot driving test so i have to continue lessons at Ubi.... yah.. i failed.. that's the main point... hahaha.. i've had to explain why i failed so many time in the past 1 and 1/2 week! hahahaa!

and here's a little belated shout out....

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MS TAY! i hope your sch stuff lightens up soon and you get to enjoy your last week of holiday! AND i think i'll most probably be able to join you for aerobics this saturday! =) hang in there babe!

alright. SO as most of you know i've started my internship at MC ( i'm not going to type out the whole name of the company cuz then its easily searched on google... haha... just in case...)

anyway, internship has been... ummm... quite uneventful the past two days... esp for me... Charm and Sher got assigned stuff... i've just been moping around... BUT i learnt how to work the VHS and dvd recorder... hahaha.. the rest of the time, we were mucking around doing weird stuff.. ahahaa!

a few pros about work

1) I found a VERY FAST bus route from home to work and back! so....... YAY! on a good journey without traffic it takes about 40-45 minutes and when there's traffic jam it takes about an hour! so its really MUCH faster than MRT cuz it takes 1 and 1/2 hours to get to work AND NO PLACE TO SIT ON MRT! i sat ALL the way back to Pasir Ris... =) teehee... thank goodness for 93!

2) I have a nice supervisor... i think... well at least for now she's actually quite nice and smiles and laughs alot.. so that's good =)

3) So many other people are at MC as well! so i have company no matter what...

4a) The work load these few days is quite little... so.... yay.. for now!

4b) i have a 5 day week for now!!!! cuz as said in 4a, the workload is quite light........ for now.......

5) WE HAVE AN OFFICE TO OURSELVES! our desks are at one corner of the office and we have our own room!!!

a few cons about work

1) so bloody far. hahaa.. i know this totally contradicts my number one from just now... but 45 mins is STILL BLOODY FAR! hahahaa.. esp for someone who finds Simei far...

2) the food is really........ limited..........

3) it keeps raining and there's no shelter to the bus stop

4) 93 takes some time to come in the evenings... so by the time i can have dinner its already 830ish....

5a) i haven't got to shit in 2 days! cuz i don't shit outside... and i spend too little time at home... so...... i'm SO CONSTIPATED!

5b) I'M GROWING FAT! i believe its linked to 5a...... and my meal times are really not helping it! i just hope i don't grow tooooooo fat!

OK. so 5 pros and cons!

these few days i just feel like coming home and stuffing food into my mouth and then wrap myself in my comforter and sleep....... teehee... so i guess you might not be seeing me online for too long each day... just msg me if there's anything!! =)

I must say that I'm really happy for Sam and Van! i think you guys have found guys that suit you to a tee! and so loving some more!!!! hahahahaa!

After dinner we decided to go find somewhere to have drinks...Perlin, Van and Joshua had to leave... so we went to Harry's at the Esplanade... and here's what happened...

I went to Ikea with my mom the day before... and bought a few cabinets and stuff.... and i spent the WHOLE day assembling stuff! teehee..

so my room is super neat now.. i have so much more storage space!!! =) i'm not done yet.. but here's some progress!

i assembled (see Gs.. i used the right word this time) these two shelves by myself!

teeheehee.. there's more to come! i'm not done yet... will show more when i'm done! but i must say my room is getting neater and neater.. there's now a place for EVERYTHING! i'm very very pleased and excited!

OH and.. i've been singing this song while doing my room cuz its so absolutely fantastic and when i heard the live version on TV i was so touched! hahahaa

Went for SIP briefing which was so long can? hahahahhaa... i'm quite nervous now though... our LO made the company sound really scary! =S

anyway... after that we hitched a ride with Charm to CSQ to eat Sakae buffet... teehee.. first time sitting my friend's car... teehee! it feels really weird though... cuz it never really occured to me that we're already at that age where we're DRIVING around rather than taking public transport! i feel old now! THANKS FOR THE RIDE CHARM! it was very steady i must say!

i have pictures of us eating at sakae.. but i was pigging out... so it isn't too glamourous! hhahhaa.. shan't post them! lol!

had an interesting weekend! been quite busy! so here's a little update on my week!

Tuesday

Went with Nana and Effie to Kbox! EFFIEEEEEE MY SHIRTSSSSS! hahaha.. 28th must remember ar! teehee! =) quite fun! too bad Audrey couldn't make it! teehee... Samuel you're invited!!!! =)

Friday

Went to the TP dance concert with Perlin and Meng, and bumped into Samuel there! teehee! the concert was great! there were a couple of eyecandies all around! hahahaa... =) Good job Charm! Great performance! =)

After the concert Meng, Perlin and I went to Cartel for dinner! we were super hungry already!!! then after that we headed to my house for a SLEEPOVERRRR!

Samantha, Meng, Vanessa, Perlin and I came over for a sleep over =) Warren was sick and Esther couldn't make it! =S albeit the attendance, we had fun!!!

and then we fell asleep while watching "Night at the Museum" hahaa.. at least, LPDR and I fell asleep while watching NATM... hahahaa!

next morning by the time we fully awoke, it was already 12pm and Perlin and I had to run off for aerobics... plans of making pancakes in the morning were forgotten! hahahahhahahaaa

By the time we woke up it was already 12, so after that Perlin and I sent Sam home and we went to aerobics lesson.. after aerobics we went to Lido to watch a movie that LPDR had tickets for...Spiderwick... the movie was not bad.. the sound effects were quite scary!

after the movie we were too tired to do anything else already! and we were full from all the popcorn... so we just headed back!

this morning i was awoken by my GROWLING TUMMY! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR......... hahahhaa.. then went to have breakfast with my parents at Tamp... and then went to the Converse sale to buy the shoes that i saw the day before... BUT TMD! NO MORE STOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! argh! shall wait for GSS then.......................... SIAN!

OK. that's all. have a lot of emotions running here and there... but that's another entry for another day!

the coming week is quite uneventful... have nothing planned... =)which is very good, can sleep! teehee!

on the day of our last exam we (Samuel, Nana, Effie, Abelin, Tracy, Audrey, Qian Ru, Gim Siong and Perry) went to K box to celebrate the last day of exams and SAMUEL'S BIRTHDAYY!!!! still no pictures though... must get from nana tmr! =) we had fun that day! we should go K again! anyone on??

but one really sad thing happened that day... i lost my crystal apple necklace! so if anyone finds it please ppppleaaaaase return it to meee!!! ='( my mummy says that the apple helped me "dang zhai" as in avoided a disaster because crystals and jades "protect" its owners... and come to think of it, i really treated the apple well, so maybe it really sacrificed itself for me. OR at least i would like to think so.. but i'm really upset about the apple... so don't bring up the subject if not i'll get depressed... ( i'm still SUPER upset... )

Went out with Ms Tay to City Hall to watch a movie and buy her Haviannas.. we watched "The Leap Years" but honestly, it was a bit draggy and boring but quite touching... being the cynic that i am, i really don't believe that one can wait 12 years without any reassurance and hang on to a promise from a stranger. at least, i surely can't.

Went to get her Havis and learnt a new word "tookie tookie!" hahahaa! there's a really nice red and gold indian print Havis with gold straps that i really like.. teehee! *hint hint* but i hardly wear slippers anyway... but a girl can never have too many shoes!

When i read it now i feel i've changed so much, honestly i feel that the "poise" and "grace" that i has somehow already faded... i need to get that back somehow! i've become so "chor lor" now!

Honestly, I'm very thankful and grateful that Ms Ng was our teacher in our last year of school. She was more than a teacher to all of us! she was like our mother in school! =) i enjoyed pouring my heart out in our weekly journals! it felt good to have someone who doesn't judge you to confide in!

anyway after a satisfying dinner we went to the arcade! as usual... i'm not sure how much money we spent, but i think we've all found a game to entertain us all! DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION! wheeheehee! everyone takes over an arrow! ahahahaa!

next Friday night (14th March) my place after the TP dance concert! Jim Rummy and DDR k! bring your sleeping bags and stuff! will confirm the details! can't wait to see you all again! LOVES MY DEARESTS!

OK! so that's all that's been happening in the past week! including driving lessons of course! this coming week i have driving lessons 4 days in a row! 3 of which is circuit which means i'm going to either (a) get a leg cramp in my left leg or (b) fall asleep cuz the speed limit is 20 km/h. either way i have to practice more! test in about 3 weeks!

going out tmr again! to IT fair in the morning with my parents to get an external hard drive and a digi cam! AND after that off to meet my lovely hardworking project mates at Settlers! its going to be a long day tmr! =) so i'm off to bed!

In my previous post when i said my muscles were aching... I OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT ACHING MEANT!

AEROBICS was quite mild last Saturday BUT the next day i couldn't sneeze without feeling my stomach would over stretch and break like and elastic band! and my arms and thighs! BUT i must say it felt vvvvvvery shiok to awaken those lazy muscles! =)

can't wait for next lesson!!! =)

anyway as far as exams go, one down and one more to go!!!!

but i'm having so much trouble studying! CCC is so boring!!!!! all i can think about when studying CCC is the stupid sailor song! " a sailor went to sea sea sea, to see what he could see see see..." you know.. that song... blahhhh.. CCC is painnnnnnnnnnfulllllllll!

BUT. LUCKILY THERE'S A MAN WHO POSITIVELY CAN DO ALL THE THINGS THAT MAKE US LAUGH AND CRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! HE'S A FAMILY GUY!

my whole body is aching i have to drag myself around!!!!!!!!!!!!

went jogging ytd alone cuz i couldn't find mr boey... so i had a 30 min run around the neighbourhood... i must say, running alone is quite fun! random thoughts just kept coming into my mind! totally random like.... how do earthworms duck around and avoid being ran over..........

anyway... two days of running really awoke muscles that i forgot existed!! especially in my legs!!

i'm in for more torture later today! have aerobics at 230pm with Ms Tay! so my tummy is bound to get a good crunching later!

study week has really been quite useless... i haven't gotten around to studying yet so... basically this week is for me to grow fat and recouperate from a semester of stress!

ps. i went into the circuit ytd and it was soooooooooooo funny i couldn't stop laughing for the whole hour!! i kept scaring my instructor! lol! but no harm done! it went more smoothly than i expected! AND i finally learnt parking! vertical and parallel.. =)

wheeheeheeheeee! i just finished a run with Mr Denny Boey who finally could wake up for a run after pang seh-ing me for 2 days! BUT IT WAS A GOOD RUN MR BOEY!

we jogged/ran/walked for about an hour or so which is a good achievement seeing that my sports shoes haven't seen the road in about 6 months! SEE YOU TMR MR BOEY! make sure you don't pang seh me!

my abs, buns and thighs plans were crushed cuz there were insufficient people to start a class! so Ms Tay and I will be joining aerobics on Saturday! i hope this time they won't cancel the class!!! i like aerobics with that teacher! he always does 30 mins of ab toning situps! =)

THAT'S OUR MEP GROUP PROJECT THAT I'M SUPER PROUD OF! hahahahahhahaa! yay! watch watch our green screen is really not bad...

ok! let me update you on my week! it has been super busy and super stressful and i'm so glad its over! phreaking plucking peasants and all! hahahahahahaha! Mr Guo so bad man! hahaha... he switched the PGM mode off so i couldn't play MC-C!!!!! luckily i recovered and went into an ad! if not i would have screwed up the whole thing! hahahahahaa!

this week was seriously fabulous! =) i got sucky grades for my animation clip though.. as a whole it sucked.. so i hope group project will be able to pull it up!

yup! OH and i went to the Black Knights airshow with Jemery this morning which was super fun! its really fun to see the jets in the air and doing all these stunts! its so amazing how its so free up there! i really wouldn't mind flying! hahaha!

OH AND! I KNOW HOW I WANT MY FUTURE BOYFRIEND TO PROPOSE! he's going to write it in the sky!!!!! AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAA! =)

so either i have to marry a pilot ( I LOVE A MAN IN UNIFORM) or a super rich man! either one is quite ok with me! =)

i'm so shocked that year 2.2 passed so quickly! its over already! its been a very heavy but productive semester and i'm so glad that its all over! i'm going to miss the company though... =S this class was quite a funny class!

TODAY WENT FABULOUSLY!!!!!

actually. judging from the time, YESTERDAY WENT FABULOUSLY!!!!! =)

Radio was PERFECT! livecross was flawless! talksets were funny! and our guest Amanda was very friendly!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =) i'm so proud of my group i tell you! i feel like a proud mummy! hahahahhaa!

and i was super high for an hour after our group's show because i was feeling so relieved and so glad that we were successful!! and also the adrenalin did wear off until an hour later! hahahaha!

Radio lesson was great as well! it was a good bonding session with the classmates which is very rare! and i'm glad i have nice classmates although the term is almost over! =) very funny people!

and after school Nana and I had a wonderful dinner at Sakae.... followed by wonderful ice-cream and then we headed to Bugis street to buy stuff!

AND I'M SO GLAD I FINALLY HAVE SOMETHING TO WEAR FOR CNY! YAY!!!!!! WHOOO HOOOOOO!!! i'm a very happy girl! =)

a little update!

Nana and I were feeling very high after sch with all heavy assignments all handed up and what not... so we decided to go shopping!!!!! =) and since we were getting sick of the same old same old at TM, we headed to the next nearest shopping mall Parkway Parade!!!

Although Parkway is something new, its kinda boring other than the Topshop and Dorothy Perkins =)

so here comes the pictures! the dresses are options for CNY! tell me which dress is better ya! =) i personally love the white flowery dress!

this is obviously not an option for CNY but every girl needs a little black dress right! this one is very weird though.. its leathery and velvety...

i kinda like this top now... i think it makes me look skinny! but apparently Nana said it's only flattering from the front from the side it makes my arm look fat. but then again. my arm is fat. so........... haha

anyway.. we had so much fun today we were talking so quickily and as high as can be! hahahahaa.. Nana made a lot of noise especially on the bus!

i've been sighing and feeling all down in the dumps the whole day and that's just no good. i feel like time has suddenly went back a year and i'm feeling the same emotions that i felt a year ago. which for the record weren't and aren't emotions that i wish to feel again or any time in the near future.

i don't know anymore. now i'm feeling like i misread the signs that i'm just making all this up in my head. i think i was the one who led myself in to this emotional termoil that just won't let up.

i've been quite blatant and giving him multiple signs and hints and by this time if nothing happens i'm guessing he's just not interested. but i just need someone to put me out of my mysery!!

WILL SOMEONE PUT ME OUT OF MY MYSERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ALREADY?!

anyway i little response to Jeremy's blog and also a list that i've been planning to do for a very long time... so my dear friends [read: Perlin, Nana, Charm (we were the ones who thought of this list last year remember? haha) Samuel, Warren] do take note of this list ok! and make sure that my future boyfriend fits the bill!

the point to this list is because when you fall in love you become blind and oblivious to the, maybe very obvious, red warning lights that are flashing! and at this point only your most trusted friends can save you. SO HERE GOES! =) btw the list will get longer in due time! so my dear friends keep yourselves updated k!

1) MUST BE GENEROUS! just because I will insist to pay doesn't mean you shouldn't offer. its not the paying that matters, its the thought that counts...

2) MUST SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH! its simple. i don't speak very good chinese. he doesn't have to be Shakespeare he just has to be able to express himself without gramatical errors or the use of chinese words. Singlish is fine, its our culture. Well at least, that's my excuse.

3) MUST HAVE MORALS, INTEGRITY and ETHICS. again, he doesn't have to be as morally upright as umm........ ummm..... God. but he still must posses the decency to tell me when he cheats on me. (yes, i'd rather know)

4) MUST BE A GENTLEMAN!!! (ie- Warren) at least OPEN THE DOOR FOR GOODNESS SAKES!!! its really the least you can do! and again, offer to pay first when out with a group of girls and then we'll pay you back... a guy with good manners scores many many brownie points!

5) MUST LIKE TO WATCH CARTOONS! i love watching cartoons so he'd better be willing to go to the cinema to watch with me =)

6) GIFTS. although i nag about soft toys and flowers collecting dust, it still would be nice to receive them, perhaps just less often... and no mugs please! or photo frames for that matter unless it has a gorgeous picture of us in it =)

7) MUST BE ABLE TO GET ALONG WITH MY GIRLFRIENDS. i'm not asking you to be best friends with them but it would be nice to be able to have dinner with my loved ones all at the same table =) if not, you should at least smile and say hi.

8) MUST NOT BE VAINER THAN ME! i don't want my boyfriend commenting on my blackheads, it doesn't matter whether or not they exist! (which they don't, the ginseng mask from Korea has been marvellous!)

9) I'M NOT INTO THE WHOLE GRUNGE LOOK. enough said.

10) MUST NOT LAY A HAND ON ME. in any way other than an affectionate way. =)

11) Should be generous with affection. you don't have to say you love me, esp if you don't mean it... but i like big bear hugs and kisses when i least expect it.

alright. that's about it for the moment. =) the list is not long, but finding a guy who fits the bill is going to be a search for a needle in a haystack!

but my dear friends, one thing i do promise you guys is that even when i do have a boyfriend i will not neglect you! =) you guys are very very important to me and i don't know how i would have managed to live through the past year without you guys! =) you guys are always there to make me feel better when i just want to crawl into a little hole, squeeze my fat bum inside and rot. =) i love you guys!

i have no life.. officially.

its new years eve and i'm infront of my computer doing my MEP photoshopping and blogging. the only thing remotely festive is the small cup of baileys...

oh well.

i can't wait to welcome in the new year honestly. 2007 has been a crappy year for me...

it started off badly and now ends quite roughly... i'm just hoping the new year will be not so suey.

i can't wait for the new year! not that somehow all my problems will magically disappear, but at least i'll be able to have a fresh start! =)

and of course there is the obligatory resolutions!

1) lead a healthy lifestyle, in other words cut down on the chocolates and exercise! (note how i didn't emphasize losing weight? hahahahahhahahaa! cuz i guess i have to adopt a healthy lifestyle and the weight will just fall off!! )

2) get good grades! do well in SIP! don't slack off at every available opportunity!

3) get my drivers licence! for bragging purposes..

4) start dating again. =) i think i'm ready to start again... i can't wait to fall in love! =) a bit of alcohol can make me an optimist...

today marks the end of this term! yay!

but we still have 2 papers to go before i can heave a sigh of relief! and even then it'll only be a short sigh because we have so many projects due!!!!!

and i sucked on radio today.. so that's another downer...

and i miss my long hair... looking back on pics with my long hair i just wish that i didn't chop the whole lot off!! =S sigh.

this year really isn't going that great for me... i can't help but to feel down in the dumps... i feel like i'm aimlessly walking through life... i have a goal, i know i do but it just seems that everytime i stress myself and pressure myself to do better it seems to have the opposite effect on me.. and there's only so much disappointment that i can take before the last glimmer of persistance dies off...

i need to find myself. rekindle the passion and drive. and then set off and start again. hopefully this time i'll be able to stand out and be that star that i always knew i'd be.

i'm all emotional, bimbotic and tired today. too many early mornings and late night mugging sessions. this week has been crap. and i've been very unsuccessful in trying to dig my brain out of the gutter.

i wanna blog.. but i'm so tired! i've been up and about since 8 this morning!!! so i'll just post pics we took today... =)

today Samuel, Nana and I were supposed to go down to the 8days flee market so that Sam can go meet Elvin Ng... but we went at about 3:40 he was gone already! aiyoh... so sad... =S

and so we spent the day at Vivo city and we watched Enchanted, which is so sweet i tell you! damn "aawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... i want a prince also!" and McDreamy has become even more dreamy! hahaa

GUESS WHO PASSED HER BTT!!!!!!!

its only 4pm but i've had such a long day!

this morning i woke up for my BTT then on the way out i saw this little black kitten, i think its a new born perhaps a week old? and it was all by itself so i decided to coo at the little kitty so i was all like " hey baby kitty! why are you alone??"

usually when you do this the cats just run away... but this little kitten squeezed its way through the fence and came pouncing towards me! like it wants to play with me... and at this point i was already quite worried cuz the kitty kept following me you know! and aparently my mom said i was jumping around like a monkey................. cuz i like animals from far but when they come closer its a totally different story!

it kept pouncing towards me you know! like it wants someone to love it!! and he kept "meow"ing in a very "please bring me home" way.. and i was like "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW"

but my mom refused to let me keep the kitty! and this kitty was very clever ok! when i walked away and another person walked by it would go and "meow" and look all cute!

poor baby!!! =S

anyway.. after that my mom and I headed down to Chinatown to pay for our trip to HK and Penang... =) and had lunch there.. nothing eventful... but i kept laughing for no good reason! i've just been so happy that i passed the stupid BTT the first time around and i don't have to wait to retest!!!!

and, i'm loving the Pleasure's Delight... its very sweet =) and makes me feel all pretty.. haha..

anyway.. we had Radio Pro today! and it was the first time we went on air! and although not many people were actually listening it was still uber fun and nerve wrecking nonetheless... hehe... we had a few boo boos but it was alright i think.. hahaa..

OH. and i heard this very nice song today which got me thinking... i want a ~~guy~~ man who's silently sexy if that makes sense... he doesn't have to be good looking, he doesn't have to say much or do much but still exude this aura of sexyness... just one glance and you feel all warm and lovey-dovey and can't help but swoon...

I wanted to get Estee Lauder Pleasure's Delight for quite some time now.. and just nice my dad was going overseas to HK!! so he got the perfume for me from DFS! YAY!!!

AND. that's not all.. aside from the 7% GST-less... there was some sort of traveller's promotion or something so it was a duo pack!!!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

it was only $63 for two 30ml bottles!!!!! normally its $66 for ONE 30ml bottle!!! its even cheaper than 2 for the price of one! but that's only cuz my dad has some PPS membership thing...

anyhow! I AM SO PLEASED!!!!! =D and I don't have to pay for it some more! AHAHHAAHA!

i haven't been blogging a lot recently... just no time...

so what happened in the past week... let me see....

i finally decided on a phone! K810i it is!!! =D its a great phone... quite user friendly i must say... only thing is some times when i take pics the focus sometimes off... but can't be fussy with a phone's camera... =) on the whole, its a great phone!

the first pic i took was of my mum.. hahahahaha! my mum's funny... lol.. and pretty.. =)

and what else have i done........ hmm...

i'm still loving radio lessons! its really fun to play around with the stuff... and the company is great as well... =) you know who you are =)

and after radio i was going to meet Perlin Tay for dinner at Eighteen Chef... and then Warren came! so yay! the more the merrier! we had fun... just for that 4 hours it seemed as if time slowed down... we had time to sit at Starbucks and sip our drinks and enjoy the cool night breeze and talk, daydream and catch up...

times like these really puts everything into perspective... life's not just all about school and all the other drama... =)

ooo.. and i met a few interesting people that day.. hahahaa.. they have such funny and amusing friends... umm.. how to say leh? hahahahahaa!

quite honestly, the food is nothing fantastic... i think our Cartel would be a much better option... the place reminds me more of like a Jupiter's Cafe kinda style.. its really quite fast food... don't expect gourmet stuff.. just the normal Cafe type menu...

BUT! i've been dying to try the shop cuz aparently the owner went on a 1 month intership at Fifteen which is Jamie Oliver's restaurant... and i'm a great big fan of his! i seriously will watch his cooking shows... hahaha! he's sexy... maybe that's why i wasn't quite impressed at Eighteen cuz when you think that he has been learning from Jamie Oliver for a month you'd have higher expectations....

BUT, its quite ok la... simple fare... a quick dinner/lunch kinda thing.. quite worth for students and nurses as well..

anyway.. on to more pics..

our mixed platter there were fish fingers, chicken nuggets, fries, calamari and onion rings... again.. nothing surprising nor extrodinary... just your usual fried foods.. no special sauce or anything..

this is the baked rice that i tried.. its Salmon Baked Rice with cream sauce... ummm... ok la.. Swenson's baked rice is creamier... but its not bad.. i like salmon... =) OH. and its very cheesy.. they were very generous with the cheese on top... which is good.. i like cheese on baked rice...

怎么办？

i don't know which phone to get.. i went out with my mom in hopes of getting a new phone today.. but when we got to TM the guy at the Singtel roadshow handed me a K850i to play with... and from that moment i was swayed!!

so i'm torn between a K810i and K850i... the biggest difference to me is the megapixels in the camera.. K810i has 3.2 mp and K850i is 5 mp.... so tell me how??? the price is also a whooping $400 difference!!

actually, a 3.2 mp camera is sufficient for normal daily kind of photography what right?

tell me tell me! advice me!!! tell me ok!!! =D

i had a pretty good day today!! went for lunch with my mommy at the Tampines CC's HK "cha chan ting" it closed down for a few months but its back again!! YAY! (LPDR you can go with your ah ma again!)

we ate so much i swear... but it was sooooooo satisfying!! =)

and then off to sch at 2... Radio was sooooooooooooo much fun!!! ahhhh!! i love radio!!! And today was our first time playing with the controls! SO EXCITING!!

i change my printer cartridge once every 3 months, you'd think that by now I'd remember how right?

silly me, i have to read the stupid manual each time i do it...

anyway, about school, i've done everything that i can. and as I've said before, if this is it then it must be God's will. =) (I'm very jealous of MrD's eyes! they are soo big and his lashes are so long!)

and I'm quite excited about the Sport Counsil project! it will look vvvvery good on my resume. and the control panel in the studio looks like such fun!

I'm still disappointed, but you got to do what you got to do no? =) and at least i'll be able live with myself knowing that I've done everything I could.

anyway, its my grandfather's birthday on Sunday and i'm thinking of making "Shou Tao" the longevity peach buns, but i can't seem to find a recipe!!! tsk!

ps. I've already bought an 08 agenda! yay! i can't wait for a new year!!!

pps. has anyone else been losing appetite? the weather has been so hot recently! and its quite amazing cuz i don't think i've ever felt like not eating, the past week has shocked my mother cuz this is a first for me! haha.. .

sigh.

so the first week of school really hasn't been off to a good start.

my timetable really sucks, i start school at 2 almost everyday and i end late at 6 three times a week.. the earliest i get let off is on monday at 4.. which really isn't that early when you come to think of it.. there's nothing i can do at 4....... what's more, i'm a morning person.

what has happened with the whole timetable system has really made me have no hope in the whole TP system already, the system is obviously not first come first serve as they'd promised.

and how nothing's being done about it really diminuishes my faith in this course and the admin ppl.. its ok to waste my time for the next 6 months learning sports marketing of which i have absoloutely no interest in.. but who's to say that next sem when we're selecting SIPs that this won't happen again? and who's to say that when we're selecting our final year subject that this won't happen again? who's going to promise that? and can we still believe in your system?

this is the first time i really wished that i went to Ngee Ann instead, with a larger cohort and more resources, chances are if there was a high demand for broadcast they'd just open another freaking broadcast class rather than waste their student's precious time learning sports marketing which they have absolutely no interest in?! 6 months is a really long time to be wasting!

sigh. at this point, i feel exhausted. exhausted worrying about my education. and also exhausted by the stupid time table.

who starts their day at 2?!?!!? seriously?! by the time i come back from sch i have absolutely no energy whatsoever. all i want to do is collapse and ~~kill myself.~~ kill the system and then commit suicide.

its weird how other ppl in other courses are still so enthusiastic about school ( even when they have to travel all the way to Sentosa) , and i feel like i'm the only one who's dreading school and who wishes that the semester flies by. and why do i have a feeling that this semester will be long and torturous.....

its going to be a long hard sem.

its officially time to start crying, whining and wishing i had listened to my parents and went to JC/Ngee Ann......

I FINISHED GREY'S ANATOMY SEASON 3!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!

i went out with Perlin ytd and rented the dvd! and i'm so happy!!! once i started watching i just couldn't stop!!! i finished it in less than 1 day!! its so interesting!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! so many things i didn't expect!! but i won't say anything here.. won't wanna spoil it for you guys!!

AHhhhh! i feel so relieved already.. but also a bit sad.. cuz i just have a feeling that season 4 won't be as good... ( i saw the trailer of Private Practice... and its kinda boring.......) hopefully, by the time my sister comes back from the states season 4's dvd will be released! although i highly doubt it.. i think i'll have to wait another year to see the next season!!!!! =S

actually, i feel a bit annoyed too.. the ending sucks.. this show is so depressing!!! sigh...

and.. too bad TR Knight is gay... hmmmmm.. i really liked him.. Georgie... who... with.. WAHAHAA..and with........ wahahahahahhahaaa! didn't really shock me... sort of saw it coming... he reminds me of Denny... WHOOPS. hahahaha....

my blog's getting boring... so here are a few photos to update... =)

this is my new short hair! i know i blogged about cutting my hair a few weeks ago... but i went to cut it again.. cuz the previous short hair was too boring cuz it was just straight.. so i went to get some angles cut into it.. haha.. and obviously it turned out horrible and it was too short! which explains why i didn't blog about it and why i haven't been taking pictures in the past month... just thinking about the stupid hair dresser pisses me off! and its already been 1 month and i'm still pissed!

NOTE TO ALL READERS: DO NOT GO CUT YOUR HAIR AT STORM!!!! the hair dressers have a mind of their own (i'm not sure about the rest but the one who cut my hair sure did)... you tell them what you want and they can repeat everything to you.. but it ends up looking TOTALLY different! and the lady still has the cheek to say "its very nice and stylish what" HELLO!? that's not the point.. what's the point of stylish hair that's damn ah lian if its not me?! i'm not ah lian why you cut ah lian hair for me!?!?!?! TMD! just because your hair is so funky and ah lian don't make mine ah lian!!!!!! you can be ah lian for all i care don't make me one!!!!!!!! the most absurd thing was you can see my scalp at the back of my head cuz she cut it so short!!!!! and i SPECIFICALLY told her DON'T cut short i wanna let my hair grow long!!!!!!!!! the most idiotic thing was i told her not to touch my fringe she still went ahead and cut it.. by the time i was about to say something my fringe was already all gone!!!!!!! aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! obviously i'm NEVER going to cut my hair at STORM ever again... "yi fen qian, yi fen huo" is soooooooooooooo true! i hate this kind of hairdressers that cut your hair according to their whims and fancies... i feel that a good hair dresser shouldn't just cut your hair any how they like it.. cuz may not suit that person's personality or character...

but i still worked it! (obviously i'm watching too much ANTM! i've finished watching all 8 cycles and i'm on to cycle 9! which is airing now!)

now that its all grown out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TAH DAH..... finally it looks decent! i won't push it by saying nice.. but its decent.. hahaa..

anyway... enough of that.. luckily hair grows back, albeit slowly, but i will get my long hair back again! =) (FYI: i cut of a total of about 10 inches of hair!)

Today was quite a good day for me... for some very good reason my spirits were very high today! which is fanastic! i've been feeling all chirpy ever since i've gotten my period.. its like a load off my shoulders! there's nothing wrong with me! and my hormones are really making me a much happier person!

I went for aerobics as normal today but Nana didn't come... so i was quite lonely... but i think i did a good job today... for the first time i incorperated the hand movements with the steps! which is a challenge for me cuz i'm quite bad at coordination.. hahaa.. AND for the first time ever i didn't feel tired at all! even during the last 5 mins of the floor movements i was still keeping up with the steps! and abdominals didn't hurt at all! which is quite disappointing cuz that just means that i've not worked my abs to the limit... well, unless our new timetable allows, this will be our last lesson for the holidays!

After aerobics i went out with mummy, she needed to go Douby Ghaut to collect some stuff so i went down with her and just in time when we reached the building it started pouring cats and dogs!! after collecting her stuff mummy and i walked towards Bugis which is suprisingly near! on the way we bought soya bean tarts!

Aparently these bean curd tarts are quite famous! its from a little shop on Middle Road called "LE CAFE CONFECTIONERY & PASTRY" my mom said that this shop has been there for ages and is very famous... you don't even have to step in and you can spot many pictures of celebrities with the shop's cakes! even famous HK stars! i haven't tried any yet... i will tmr though.. =) and i'll remember to take pictures!

When we reached Bugis, mama and i thought of having Crystal Jade but then i suddenly remembered that there's a new "cha chan ting" on the second flour so mama and i decided to give it a shot... mama, my sibilings and i like cha chan tings and our favourite Shan Ding cha chan ting at Tampines CC closed down... so we've been on a hunt to find a replacement!

Mama and i ordered about 3 dishes and their HK stocking tea(which in my opinion just tastes like normal milk tea.. but then again..what do i know......haha) and of course we had to order the thick toast! we just didn't expect it to be that thick! it was equivalent to about 4-5 slices of bread! the insides are soft and fluffy and warmm! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! and the top had a THICK layer of peanut butter and condensed milk!!!!!! are you drooling yet?

We had so much to eat i seriously felt soooooo full after that... in fact, i think the toast alone would have been sufficient to fill our stomachs to the brim! all in all, i think the toast was the best out of all the other dishes we tried... maybe the next time i'll just go there for thick toast!

haha! my mummy's so cute!

probably will be blogging tmr again.. i'll be baking corn muffins, a special request from daddy... and it'll probably my last time baking for the next 4-5 months until the next holiday... =) i hope they turn out well...

happy happy happy!

my mother says i've been in a happy mood the past week and i do have to agree... i've been bouncing off walls and all bubbly and chirpy, which is fanastic!

i don't think i've been this self since the beginning of this year... =) it must be the very refreshing and much needed holidays AND the fact that my period which decided to go on holiday for the past 6 months has FINALLY decided to come!

hormones are the bitch... they screw with my emotions and my body its crazy! but thanks to the miraculous chinese doc that i saw last week my period finally came and i'm no longer that crabby hormonal grouchy person! =) and according to her its cuz of the hormones that i've been putting on weight.. hopefully now that the hormones are in control i'll lose the weight!! =D

this chinese doctor that i went to is really some miracle worker... the last time i went to another chinese doctor i took about 3 weeks of her meds but my period didn't come.. now i only took 4 days of her meds and my period came! AMAZING! FANTABULOUS!

i don't want to continue taking western meds cuz there's no point.. they just make you take hormone tablets that make you fat but they don't get to the root of the problem.. they just make sure that your period comes... so no point right? the fact that my period stopped coming its a my body telling me something's wrong and not functioning well... and pumping my body with hormones to get my period to come back isn't going to solve that problem....

so girl friends... if your period ever stops coming go visit the chinese doctor at Changi GH... =) don't bother with the hormone therapy bullshit... it only makes you fat and it screws with your moods...

omg... my heart was racing so quickily!!!!! and i'm beating myself up for not bringing my camera....

so i was having dinner with my family at this restaurant called "Perle Noir" at Siglap area and we were finishing off our dinner already waiting for the bill to come.. and then 3 ppl came to sit down at the table beside us.. then i turned and saw this really tall person and i was like.. "oh.. tall person that looks suspiciously like Wang Li Hong.. but also a lot like a tall indian person" so i just went back minding my own business.. oh and at that point when i looked towards them we actually made eye contact!

and of all people my FATHER recognised that it was WLH!!! our convo went on the lines of something like this..

Daddy : eh.. that guy looks like WLH..
Me: No la.. its an indian person... i doubt it..
Daddy: look again...
Me: *Turns head and takes a good look* OMG. it is WLH!

hahahaha... WLH sat beside me!!!! he was within 1 meter of my seat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as you can tell... i'm quite star struck... hahahaa.. at that point i was just thinking "omg. i think i've had too much to drink! what if i get up and topple over on him!" hahaha.. luckily i got up gracefully and walked straight to the door!

so, there you have it my second exeperience in the presence of superstars! ( my first was with F4.. we were in the same plane! )

i'm so star struck and a bit tipsy... hahahaa... =) i'm happy! soon these people will be my collegues!! hahahaa.. i kid i kid.. but i'm hoping...

and it hurts looking at myself broken and torn apart... but realising how strong i am now and how i independent i am now it really makes me very proud of myself... =)

enough of that... =)

this week has been quite fun.. mom brought me out a couple of times cuz she's been in the best of moods this week... that's good for her and myself.. but it's really quite damaging for my body...

i've been putting on weight like a crazy hippo.. its insane! i've been on the bike for 2 hours and treadmil for 30 mins a day and eating really healthily but i can't seem to get rid of the blubberrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! HELP!

maybe i shouldn't eat too healthily huh.. perhaps i should try that raw food thing Nana went on.. or perhaps turn vegetarian? or maybe i shouldn't exercise... cuz i heard that went you exercise you tend to need more energy so you eat more.. but if you don't exercise you can lose the weight cuz you don't eat much... ( yes i know.. its healthier to exercise... but the scale doesn't budge!)

arrrrgh.. frustrating.. and i must be doing something wrong cuz aerobics on monday did not hurt a bit... usually the next morning i tend to feel all sore and my tummy feels so tight... but i haven't felt anything this week.... aiyah... must be more hiong next week...

ah well... wish me luck! i'm done ranting.. haha..

Caffeine is one crazy chemical!

i just had two cups of tea and now my heart is racing and my hand trembles!!! caffeine is crazy!!!!!

the reason i haven't been blogging these past few days is cuz my life has basically been quite boring... hahaha... i made pancakes again on Sunday...

OOO... and i made a butter cake for my mom's birthday! didn't take any pics though... haha..

it turned out not bad.. but not as buttery as i'd like... =S hahaa..but good nonetheless... =)

I MADE PANCAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

I was going to make muffins ytd for my mom's breakfast today.. but she says she's sick of western food for breakfast and wants something else... and then she suggested pancakes...

I know right? isn't pancakes western? hmm... hahaa... =) told you my mom is cute!!!

anyway.. so i made pancakes this morning... =) i've been making pancakes for my parents breakfast since i was 12! i remember when we were overseas they hardly went out for breakfast cuz there weren't any "kopi tiam" overseas so we'd have breakfast at home and i'll make pancakes, sunny side up and bacon! =)

sigh. but now that we're back in S'pore i hardly get the chance to cook breakfast anymore!! cuz there are so many coffee shops around!! and my dad plays golf on Saturday mornings and goes for breakfast with his mom on Sundays... pooo!

but anyway... i digress... what's so special about today's pancakes?? i didn't come from a Betty Crocker box!!! i made it from scratch!!!!!! =) and its really simple actually...

First put flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar in a bowl

Then in a separate bowl mix melted butter, milk, egg and vanilla essence together

And then combine the dry and wet ingredients together and you have pancake batter! so simple!!

Then do a "sacrificial pancake" to test the heat of the pan... my sacrificial pancake ended up being the nicest looking pancake despite the recipe saying that it will fail...... haha..

See? making pancakes is so easy!!!

I must say this pancake recipe is really not bad! you can eat the pancake on its own and it still very tasty! yay!

i have to cut it into cubes first then i can eat it... haha.. but at Mac's i have to cut it up, piece it back together into a circle then eat... hahaaa.. last Friday was funny, Jack kept poking fun at my pancakes...

OH! i put bananas INTO the pancake as well!!! look! can you see?

And of course i have to play with my breakfast right? i like the effect of the light!! my pancake is glowing!

OK! that's all.. are you hungry now?? wahahahahhaaaa!!

i think i'll be a great mother... don't you? every week i'll bake something for my kids and then make pancakes for their breakfast... wahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!! my lucky kids!

someone has to make me stop drinking coffee!!! obviously my imagination goes wild when i drink coffee.. wahahahaa...

and the plan backfired on the first day.... so much for determination...

but at least i ate healthily today... no cheesecake! =)

i need more determination and motivation!!!!! if not daddy's going to kill me!!! he's already been asking if i've been on the treadmill often/if at all.. hahahaa..

so, on monday i went out with Nana to Vivo and checked out my phone! which is 398 with a plan! so ex!!!! see whether my mom wanna sponsor anot.. but i just got sponsorship for my haircut cuz of nana's clever idea! hahaha.. she said since my dad likes my new hair so much i should ask him to sponsor my haircut! and he agreed without much hesitation.. so yay! more money for me! =)

went window shopping which is something we haven't done in a long time! tried alot of clothes.. and even though i haven't went up a dress size... i can tell i've put on a lot of weight in the last 3 months... so i'm going to start running and dieting again! before i become a lump of blubber!

speaking of exercising... i'm going to play golf with my family this weekend... not only i get to exercise i'll be able to look out of young rich guys! wahahahahahahahhaaaaa!!! but that's another story for another day... wish me luck!!!

anyway... i baked a cheesecake ytd... and its all gone now!!!!!!!! my brother and father really liked it...and of course i liked it tooo! wahahahaaa... so here are the pictures!!!

Step One - break all the digestive biscuits and add butter and sugar... this part was quite fun actually... i like smashing stuff!

Step Two - fill the baking tin with the digestive biscuit... the first mistake i made.......... layering the baking tin with baking paper... it ended up burning in the oven! and when i opened the oven the whole kitchen was all grey with smoke!!!!

Step Three - mix cheese, sugar and eggs... the second mistake i made... i didn't know that you're supposed to wait until the cheese is at room temperature then start mixing!!!! so i tried mixing the frozen cheese with the beater and it kept getting stuck!!!!! until i put in the sugar then it became better... haahaa.. when the mixture is smooth then pour into baking tin...

put it into the oven for 15 mins... and TAHHH DAHHHHH!!!!

but its not done yet... the recipe told me to put a layer of sour cream on top of the cheese cake... so i decided to put sour cream and lemon juice! which turned out to be DELICIOUS... cuz the lemon gives the creamy cheese a lighter taste and not so jer lat..

put it back into the oven for 10 more mins and TAHHH DAHHH DAHHH DAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! its done!!!!

TIP TO ALL- do not attempt to remove the cake from the baking tin until at least after it has cooled for about 5-6 hours...

but silly old me... i thought that since the recipe said cool that means when its at room temperature then i can take it out already right? WRONG!!!! look at what happened to my beloved cake!!!!!

and it cracked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(the brown stuff on top is not pork floss... its the crumbs from the crust! ahahaha.. )

but nevertheless..... it tastes DELICIOUS in my humble opinion.... =) it may look like crap but it tastes like heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first i craved curry puff... and then i craved for ice cream.. and then cake... and then chocolate...

WAHHHHH GOT KUEHHHH!!!!!!

Hahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!!!

Aparently the hokkien name for the steamed rice cake is "Wua Gor Kueh"

And our dear Anthony made a pun out of it.. hahaha... WAH! GOT KUEH!!!!!! haha.. not bad not bad.. quite funny.. hahahaa...

So, the cake turned out to be ULTRA successful... my dad even suggested that i open a bakery... wahahahaaaa.. so flattered!! =)

When it first came out of the steamer it was a little soft and the sweet smell of coconut milk and vanilla essence made my mouth water!!! then when its cooled off it became spongy! just the way its supposed to be!!! =) so here are the pics of the Wua Gor Kueh as promised... and again.. sorry for the quality of the pictures... its the best my hp can do.. =)

THE FIRST DAY OF HOLIDAY!!!!!!!

today, has been the day that i have been waiting for for the past 3 months.. basically since the first day Semester 2.1 started......

YAY!!!!!!! YIPPEEE!!!!!

but. i'm starting to feel bored.. hahaa.. i should go out and stash up on some dvds... if anyone knows where i can rent english dvds like... CSI:NY, Grey's Anatomy season 3 or even the collection of FRIENDS... can you please msg me on msn!!!!! thanks..

umm... so the only plans i have for this week is my date with ABG on Friday to go back to HSC for teacher's day and then celebrate Mengs' birthday... before i forget.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MENG!! legal at last! lets go sign up for our driving licence!

in the mean time.. i should probably spend more time on the treadmill that daddy bought us... hopefully i'll be as disciplined as the last holidays and lose more weight!!! i've already signed up for aerobics lessons with Nana!!! YAY!

So... to celebrate that ytd was our last paper, Nana and i went to TM to hang out.. and we did so many things that we haven't done in SUCH a long time...

1) Binge on junkfood - Nana had 10 sachets of WangWang and i had a pack of Muruku ( you know? the yellow indian snack) and then we went to eat Sakae Sushi buffet... but we stuff ourselves crazy like we'd usually do.. this time we really weren't feeling all that hungry after all the junk food...

2) Watch movie - we caught Hairspray.. and as weird as this sounds.. Zac Effron actually looks quite cute in the movie... hmm.. and i teared when i heard Queen Latifa sing during the protest.. she sang with such emotion....... ahhhhhh.... =) the movie's not bad.. but a little draggy in the middle..

3) We took NEOPRINTS! we haven't done it in ages lah.. since the last holiday... =) the machine... is ULTRA cool... i love it!!! the whole interior is green and there are many seats, benches and props... =)

so much fun! =)

oh. and i finished the whole season 5 of The Simple Life! quite hilarious.. you should go watch... hahahaa...

time for my evening nap!hahahahahahaa.. i've been eating, sleeping and watching tv the whole day.... DDDDDDDDAMN SHIOK!

TODAY WAS GREAT! =)

it was just what i needed to lift the shadows looming over my head! =)

firstly the socio paper is over and that's enough to make me jump around in circles in joy!

and then I spent the afternoon with my two dearests!! Perlin and Nana.. my LPDR and LG.. hahahaa!

Firstly I went to do the theraputic thing that i mentioned in my previous post... which is......... i got a hair cut!!!! =) and as i guessed, i feel so much lighter and so much less frustration like all the hair that was cut off signified all the frustration and the troubles all cut away! it also signifies my letting go of something that i couldn't bear to get rid of.. but i have now decided to move on and try something new... =) see? so theraputic! go try it!!

Thanks girls for accompanying me to the saloon and giving me moral support! hahahaa! LOOOOOOOOOVES and i really appreciate it!! really! =)

after cutting my hair we went to Cartel to eat to take advantage of the 30% discount! hahahahahhaa! we ate so much I'm still feeling VERY full! we ate a pasta each.. i had my usual Spicy thai seafood pasta... and then we had a banana crepe and a VERY BIG serving of ice cream! 8 scoops of ice cream topped with cookies, whipped creme and chocolate and caramel sauce! are you drooling already? it was absolutely delish!!!!

not only the food was great but the company as usual was fantastic as well... its very easy to feel comfortable with Perlin and not feel any sense of evaluation apprehension... or feel like you have to be someone you are not.... its all casual and easy... and relaxing! even Nana said so... anyway.. being with my two dearests really something we needed after one week of serious mugging! loves you guys! =)

after lunch/dinner (can you believe we sat at Cartel for 4 hours eating?!) Nana had to run off to meet her parents and Perlin and I had a lot of fun trying to split the bill because for some reason we couldn't get the correct sum!!! until our clever aunty saw that our ice cream hasn't been discounted!!!! hahahahahhaa! i think we spent about 15 minutes calculating the bill over and over.. hahahaaa...

after that we headed off to buy pencil cases! cuz my old one has patches of ink on it...and Perlin has been borrowing her brother's for over a year! so we bought identical pencil cases!! in fact, the pencil case that i was previously using is also one that we bought together! ever since secondary school we've been buying identical stuff.. from the rubber bands on our hair to the clothes we choose to wear! =) even the identical school uniforms!!!! GASP! hahahahahaha..ok.. being lame.. hahahaha! love you babes! See you next friday! =)

anyhow. so that was my day.. the best day of the week! =)

i'm giving up trying to explain

because in any case, you will find something else to justify yourself..

but just so you know, we didn't even say anything about your attitude. in any case, absence and tardyness is enough to get us boiling and giving us attitude after you are in the wrong really sent us through the roof... no amount of discussion prior to what we have decided would have changed the outcome... as you said, we should have seen this coming... the protocol applies both ways my dear, if you were so unhappy the day before you could have been the one to take initiative to talk to us and explain your situation... rather than giving us the cold shoulder and black face the whole day and clearly ignoring us...

we love you and treat you as a good friend, accomodating your moodyness and cold shoulders, but enough is enough.. there is a limit to how much we can take..... you may be our friend, but that doesn't mean you can climb onto our heads and expect us to smile happily and ask you if you would like some tea and biscuits while you are up there...

since you've said that you understand our stand and why we did what we did, perhaps you should stand in our shoes... after lugging the tonnes of equipment, planning the whole project, doing research and pulling everything together, just the two of us, perhaps you will understand why we are so upset and disappointed.. and why we feel that the grade that we produced by our sweat and blood (literally) should belong to us...

with this, what's done is done, what has been said has been said... whether you believe it or not, i really do value our friendship and well, i just feel we need time to cool down before we tackle the many issues we've left unsaid these past 4 months... i hope you truely understand why we resorted to this...

group projects have really strained many relationships, its been hard separating work and friendship... many things were left unsaid and swept under the rug... many expectations left me feeling disappointed...

it is not easy being a friend and a project mate... there's a fine line that separates being a friend and proj mate... being a friend its hard to be demanding of your friend who is at the same time your project mate whom which your grades depend on... and so you carry your project mate's load on to your own shoulders to salvage your, by this time already frail, friendship... but eventually and surely there is a straw that breaks the camel's back...

as a friend i try to cover for you
as a project mate i feel overloaded and

as a friend i forgive you
as a project mate i feel that its very unfair

but being a friend doesn't mean i'll be more lenient on you
being a project mate doesn't mean i can't be friends with you

its just so hard to find a balance between friends and projects.....

the moral of the story: don't do projects with friends.............

sigh.. honestly, its quite depressing and its distracting me from studying.. and as opposed to the previous post, i really would much rather be studying now than blogging... but i really cannot concentrate there's just too much on my mind... at this point, i really wouldn't mind having a bf to talk to.... but nvm cuz i have you guys to talk to.. so.... its comforting to some extent... =)

the only reason why i'm blogging so regularly is because......... i'm really finding any excuse to not revise...

i know i should probably get started on my revising.. and i have.. a bit.. but i just don't know how to start!!!! how how howwwwwww?! sigh......

i've been thinking... someone asked me why don't i find a bf.....

its not that no one wants me or i haven't been asked.. its just that i've chosen to be single.. at 18 its the time to be free and learn to be independent, its the time to hang out with friends without having to worry about what your bf thinks or having to "report" back to your bf... moreover, when i get married i'll have the rest of my life to be "attached" so why not enjoy being single now?

what's more, at this point in life, where is the relationship going to head? we all have different pictures in our minds...

but honestly, i won't deny that i miss having someone to talk to, someone to bitch about anything and everything with.... a shoulder to lean on..

but on the other hand... i still have my LPDR perrin tay! and oh.. i've gotten a new laogong! hahaa.. techno nana!!!

this post is just random rants, i doubt it makes much sense... but as i said.. anything to give me an excuse to not revise.. i should probably start tho......

i just went for my blood test.. it finally dawned on me what this could mean... a life time of meds to make sure that the hormones that my thyroid is supposed to produce is still being supplied to my body... and i'm only 18! sigh..

oh well.. on the bright side, it sure beats other more serious diseases......

lets just hope the blood test is negative and i don't have hypothyroidism! we'll know in 4 days...

its been awhile since i last blogged... really no time!!!!

But, i'm so glad that we've survived year 2.1.. =) and even more glad that its almost over!!!!!

This sem has been very challenging and testing on relationships as well as our time management... the only proj that went smoothly without any probs was Jap and i'm really proud of my group! we were able to do our role play without script and no one forgot lines! yay!

It seems so long ago yet it seems like ytd that 2.1 just started... hmmm.... oh well.. =)

I've been waiting for the end of the sem since the beginning of the sem!

So, to celebrate, Techno Nana and I gorged on techno pratas and techno bubble tea at the techno indian coffeeshop after school! yumms! i haven't had pratas in AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGESSSS!!! ahhhhh... and then washing it down with bubble tea was just guilty-pleasure to the max!

We then headed to CSQ to watch 881... can you believe it.. in the past 7 months i've only watched 2 movies? that is how busy school is.... anyhow.. it was a greaaaaaaat movie!!!! very funny and a bit vulgar... but still, funny... oh and touching too...

Its been so long since we've been able to sit down and chat over a good meal and last Friday was really relaxing and great catching up session!! So much fun in good old Tampines.. hahahahahaa..

anyhow... I went to the chinese doctor today and she said that my thyroid is swollen and adviced me to see a western doc to get my blood tested.. so i headed down to Raffles to get it checked out... so i'll be going for a blood test tmr.. i'm so scared!! i haven't had my blood taken in years! and on top of that.. my mom's not around.. so i'll have to go alone..... =S lets hope its nothing serious!!!!

ALMOST FULLY LEGAL! =)

here's the long awaited 18th birthday post!! =) so the celebration and pig fest started on Friday..

Charm, Nana and I went to sch and stayed for about 30 mins.. it was really boring.. then we headed to Orchard! the long and cold bus ride made us really urgent to go to the loo! moreover it was a rainy day!! by the time we reached Orchard we couldn't take it anymore and were running towards Wisma's toilet.. haha!!

then after that we headed to Wheelock to Brow's House ( i'm sure that's not how you spell it.. haha.. but you get what i mean right? ) and made an appointment for 230pm.. so we had about one and a half hours to spare.. so what did we do? we went to Borders to browse their mags! hahahaha! we sat there for about one hour reading their mags!! next time we don't have to buy mags already! wahahahaha! just go and read their mags! lol..

then after that i went to do my brows.. OMG. it has to be the most PAINFUL experience ever!! i opted for threading instead of plucking cuz i wanted to try it out.. but OMG. damn pain can! the first time the lady plucked it was ultra painful, i could hear a ripping sound followed by my eyebrows catching on fire!!!! omg.. i could feel each and every strand of hair get pulled out! ouch!! even the lady was worried.. hahaa.. anyhow, Brow's House (spelling?) was really quite good.. my brows turned out quite well.. =) would recommend.. BUT the only thing is, its quite pricy for brows..

anyhow.. we headed for Sakae buffet after getting my brows done! =) we haven't went to Sakae buffet in a very long time!!! we ate quite a lot.. but i don't think we beat our previous record!! hahaa.. and during lunch they gave me their present!! its a necklace and a pair of ear rings!! THANKS YOU GUYS!!! =) i love them!! i've been wearing them very often!! THANKS BABES!

btw.. i think i'm not going to call Charm and Nana my lovlies anymore.. i think i'll call them my sillies.. hahahaa... can? ok?

Daddy treated us to dinner at Amigos at Funan centre.. the food was great!!! =D and we had such a fun time!!! the older we get the more fun we have with each other!! love my wacky family!!! =)

OH. and i bet you guys still want to know what my daddy got for me right? fine.. i'll tell you guys.. he got me a treadmill!!!!! =D!!!!! so exciting!!! AND it gets better! not only does he get me a treadmill.. he's going to convert the whole second floor into a gym! he got a treadmill, a sit up machine, a bicycle and a spine thingy! and he's going to hang a flat screen TV infront of the treadmill!!! OH. and i bought my mom a wallet on my birthday cuz on the day that i was born my mom went through alot of pain.. mama, xin ku le!! so i should get her a present right? hahahaa.. and she's actually using the wallet!! yay!

anyway.. daddy brought us out for lunch again.. but before lunch we had my birthday cake! heheehheee! cuz daddy would be heading to Hong Kong in the afternoon..

After that sent daddy to the airport and headed to my grandma's house for dinner! =) black pepper crabb!!!! wahahhahahahaaaaaaa! and of course another cake at my grandma's house! hahahaa..

I can't believe I'm going to be 18 in an hour's time.. there are so many mixed emotions about getting older..

1) oh goodness. i'm getting old.

2) i only get to have an 18th birthday once in my life.

3) i'm half legal!!! =)

4) somehow half of me doesn't feel much cuz somehow i feel that 18 won't feel anything different from 17. i'll still be the same old me... no biggie...

5) but I'm also kinda excited.. 18 you know!!

6) plan 1855 failed... =S i must start on plan 2148.. hahahaaa..

7) Nana and Charm aren't going to sleep over tmr.. sigh.. so sad.. =(

hmm... yah.. that's about it.. will post up pics tmr... =) had a really great dinner with my parents!! daddy pampered us with a dinner at Amigos... the desert is aabsolutely fantastic!!

the fastest way to make me cry?

show me a lizzard.

i know i was supposed to blog about the thing my dad is getting me.. but again.. i got distracted.. while i was using my com, this stupid lizzard popped out of nowhere..like a freaking weasel!

and by the time i woke my maid up to kill it it was already gone! and she kept arguing with me about where the lizzard went.. but it can't go anywhere! there's nowhere it can run!!! stupid!!!!

so we spent 30 mins looking for it.. and my mom and maid were trying to coax me back into the room.. all this while i was still in hysterics... seriously, it took like.. 2 seconds for the tears to come.. i 'm really afraid of those freaking things.. the last time a lizzard was in my room i didn't sleep in my room for.......... 2 days... and i disifected/threw away everything the lizzard stepped on..

i mean.. if it were a cockroach i'll kill it myself.. but its a lizzard!!!!! i hate lizzards!!!

until now.. still cannot find... sigh... i'm feeling really paranoid.. like i keep feeling that its on my head somewhere! sigh.. doubt i'll be sleeping tonight......

hello all!

we celebrated Sam's belated birthday on Friday at Vivo.. we ate at Earl's Swensons.... in my opinion... its not worth it.. you pay so much more for something that you can get at a cheaper price.. and in terms of service, it really isn't that good.. the staff and RM were quarreling right infront of us!! tsk. and they weren't really happy to serve us.. bad service.. except for one guy he was very pleasant.. =)

all in all.. we had a good night catching up with one another! =) it was a much needed rest from our busy week! no pictures tho...i forgot to take group photo this time.. =S

today i spent the day infront of my lappy watching youtube catching up on all the Taiwan entertainment shows that i've missed out on since the holls.. haha.. yes.. i'm a cheena pok.. but seriously, Taiwan entertainment shows are great when you need good laugh! they really crack me up! oh.. and i went to IKEA today! i bought an undies separator.. hahahahahaa... AND i've managed to con my father!!! guess what he's getting me!!!! GUESS GUESS!!! it starts with a T and ends with a L... guesses on the tag board!

i'm soooo psyched!!! will tell you guys more about those plans in the next entry!! =)

ps. i can't believe i'm going to be 18... it means i can't get away with nonsense anymore...... sigh. i feel old.. being young and "bu dong shi" can not be an excuse anymore................... bah.

i've been making so many plans.. all for one special day.. the day i turn 18.. =)

i really want to be skinny on my 18th birthday so i've made a plan! its called 5518! haha! it means that i want to be 55 kilos on my 18th birthday.. and why is it so important to be skinny on my 18th birthday? cuz its my 18th birthday! its one of those birthdays that isn't like the other birthdays.. its like your sweet 16 or 21st birthday.. its important! because it will be the day that i'll be semi-legal!!! and eligible to learn driving!

but that's besides the point.. i want to remember that on my 18th birthday i was skinny.. so that later on in my very fat life i won't have to keep saying that i was fat my whole childhood.. at least i was skinny at 18.. =)

i know all this doesn't really make much sense to any of you.. but oh well.. why i'm even blogging about this is beyond me.. oh well. =)

it is.

so i went to bed last night like any other night and then after 5 mins i started feeling hot and prickly like there were many ants biting me.. my first thought was.. OMG. bed bugs.. so i turned on the lights and nothing.. so i just went back to sleep scratching every so often.. i think i even scratched in my sleep.. hmmm.. then i woke up around 4 cuz it was reallllllly tooo itchy to bear.. so i turned on the lights and to my horror there were sooooooooooo many mosquito bite looking things ALL OVER MY BODY! and there was a freaking 3D red world map on my thigh!!! and i started panicking and freaking out and all woke my parents up and then took meds and then freaked out some more...

so i decided to go online to research what could be the cause and what to do about it.. (charm you reallllly should be sleeping at 4am in the morning.. hahaa.. =) ) and so i came to the conclusion. it must be the soap i used. bah. stupid soap.

anyhow.. here are some pics.. warning.. its kind freaky.. i get itchy just looking at it..

feeling itchy already? hahaa.. btw.. have any of you been bitten by one of those "grass mosquitoes"? the kind where the bite becomes reaaally red and about 2.5 cm in diameter? i don't know what they are called.. my mom calls them "cao bang" literally meaning grass mosquito... its those with the really long legs.. i had this uuuuultra big bite before i went to korea.. so i was really itching all the time! oh and when it heals it becomes a bruise.. its really horrid..

oh.. and im all better now.. the swelling went down and everything.. saw the doc.. =)

i sure hope they don't reappear!

Day Seven

Day seven was our last day in Korea... all of us were feeling kind gloomy for some reason... =S

We first headed to the Amethyst shop where all the purple, glittery but way toooo expensive bling blings were staring right back at us.. kinda boring though.. honestly.. but i guess the ah mas in our tour liked it... hmm...

We went on to have our brunch after that.. we had Sulfur Duck.. remember in Da Chang Jing she cooked the sulfur duck and then something happened to the king? yah.. that sulfur duck.. but honestly........ it just tastes like duck........... hahaha.. nothing unusual.. but at least we can say we've tried.. =)

next we headed to some provision shop where we could buy seaweed and other Korean food stuff.. my parents ended up buying 6 packs of seaweed and one bottle of Korean honey citrus drink.. i like!!! =) its really effective for colds and sore throats.. you can get it here in S'pore too!

the morning was quite relaxed we did everything at our own pace.. and still managed to reach the airport early.. =) so while we were waiting to check in we realised we forgot it was father's day!!!!! hahahahhaa! so we bought ice cream for daddy.. hahaa..

and before we knew it we were saying bye to Michael and bye to Korea... after a 6 hour boring flight.. we were back in S'pore...

the only bad thing about holidays is coming back to S'pore.. well.. its not really S'pore.. but rather coming back to reality.... for one week all my troubles were gone i felt so light and carefree.. and when i returned to S'pore all the work and responsibilities started hitting me one by one.. sigh...

well anyway.. I had SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH fun in Korea!!!!! next destination... JAPAN.. =)
